August 5: Eighth Anniversary Celebration at Schulz Museum

Posted by on Wed, Aug 4, 2010 at 9:00 AM

It’s hard to believe that the Schulz Museum has been entertaining visitors for eight years now. Like the characters in “Peanuts,” we never expect these things to grow up. This Thursday, it’s the Schulz Museum’s eighth birthday, and if you know some eight-year-olds yourself, take them down for an Eighth Anniversary Celebration featuring free admission and free ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. (Aziz Ansari’s way vulgar comedy routine about Cold Stone not included.) For parents, on current display are exhibits about Schulz’s love and inclusion in Peanuts of both golf and pop culture. If you’ve lived for the last eight years without checking the place out, well, why not? Your free chance arrives on Thursday, Aug. 5, at the Charles M. Schulz Museum. 2301 Hardies Lane, Santa Rosa. 5–8pm. Free. 707.579.4452.
