Like working in the wine industry after Sideways or working in a record store after High Fidelity, it must be incredibly strange to be dancing in a ballet troupe after the widespread hullabaloo over Black Swan. Can you imagine trying to explain your trained craft to someone who’s simply imagining you as Mila Kunis? Fortuitously, Alonzo King’s LINES ballet company is daring, creative and modern enough to separate itself from the film’s traditional styles; see them in action on Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Lincoln Theatre. 100 California Drive, Yountville. 8pm. $39–$49. 707.944.9900.
