When he was young, Jacob Kalama joined a circus in Kenya, learning the twists and tricks of a traveling performer. Twenty years later, he leads the Kenyan Safari Acrobats, a troupe featuring contortionists, magicians, balancing acts, strongmen, fire dancing and more. Throughout, his wife Karen tells tales of Kenyan warriors and teaches basic Swahili. Bring the family when they present two shows in the area, on Friday, March 4 at the Sebastopol Community Center (390 Morris St., Sebastopol; 8pm; $12-$25; 707.823.1511) and Saturday, March 5 at the Lincoln Theater (100 California Dr., Yountville; 3pm; $10-$25; 707.944.9900).
