Flowing water found on Mars, Earth-like planet discovered by Kepler telescope—science is hot right now! If your kids are showing any interest in technology, engineering, math or exploration, now’s the time to take them to the annual North Bay Science Discovery Day. Part of the Bay Area Science Festival, this gigantic, hands-on day of activities appeals to any age and discipline. Robotics, animals, microbes and exploding cola bottles will all be there for this fifth annual event, featuring dozens of local exhibitors and vendors. New discoveries will be made on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa. 10:30am. Free admission and parking.
