Alice's Now and Zen
WHERE previous editions of Alice 97.3-FM's Now and Zen festival have featured an even spread of blast-from-the-past acts and today's pop stars, this year the San Francisco radio station focuses on the present with throwback vocalist Duffy (a.k.a. Amy Winehouse lite), singer and pianist Sara Bareilles, singer/songwriter Gavin Degraw and up-and-coming pop singer Lenka. The most old-school musicians performing at this year's fest come by way of Sugar Ray, the SoCal alt-pop group that ruled the roost in the later part of the last decade with songs like "Fly," "Every Morning" and "Someday." |
