Re: “Summerfield Cinemas' Opening Party

All this leaves a very bad taste in my mouth... I cannot get too excited about Mr. Tocchini opening another theatre, his track record is not impressive. Thank goodness for Netflix and the Rafael. Gliterati, schmiterati, do they go to the movies?

Car detailing is separate from washing and waxing, though some car centers provide these solutions together. In standard, a wash and wax occupation is just that – the exterior with the automobile is cleaned and waxed. Vehicle describing goes further, and although concentrated for the interior from the car or truck, vehicle describing also requires some exterior operate. God forbid he would ever talk to the help here at Wells Fargo. Didn't make a lot of friends with his attitude.

Aw bull , I have no police experience but I could have got him out of the van . first offer him a piece of candy . if thats not working offer some fast food . if that failed i would spray him with mace . if he still resists hit him with my taser . Still not out of the car? hit his legs with my night stick ! still no compliance ? call a fire truck to hose him out of there ! kill him with my gun NOT AN OPTION . The sheriffs blew this call bad .

Dang! It looked like a painting of a girl in the paper edition and now, up close, she looks like a figurine. I gotta change my story a bit.

Re: “How Can You Replace Steve Jaxon?

Thanks for the memory of KREO. It had style, no doubt. I remember a DJ, I think his name was Trevor Kerry or something like that, had a great personality and good one-liners. They switched to some awful crap called KHTT for a while. I tried to listen for a few months but ditched it for the Fox (which was still doing jazz and blues on the weekends) and the Krush. I remember in my final weeks of listening to that awful KHTT I called up and won a free CD, I went down to the station and their collection was so awful, the only halfway decent thing I could find was Richard Marx. Oh well, the world moves on.

Re: “Photos & Live Review: Bob Dylan – Warfield Theater, August 25, 2010

Bob is the greatest. You have to get right up front when the band is cooking. Let go of any expectations of the past or you will miss out on his present genius.

Re: “Photos & Live Review: Bob Dylan – Warfield Theater, August 25, 2010

FYI: Even though he didn't play with Dylan, Bob Weir was there standing next to the soundboard. I spoke with him.

Re: “The Last Morning at the Rialto

Small correction - Michael Burch is one of the principles of ScottAG, a Santa Rosa based design/build sign company and a good friend of mine. News that he is my partner may come as some surprise to Michael, his wife Sue and my partner Michael O'Rand. Other than that small inaccuracy, this is a very nice piece. Thanks Gabe![Ed note: The amended content above now reflects the correction.]

Re: “It's Confirmed: Iron Chef to Open Napa Resto

Mr. Chef Morimoto. My name is Michone . I have a daughter who is a senior in Highshool. She loves you and idolizes you. She is pursuing Culinary due to you. Her father thinks its a waste of time. I encourage her all the time. To get to my point, I am an unemployed mother of two and am facing two major leg surgeries over the next couple of months. Shaylen will be 18 on January 25. I would love to give her a great birthday, but due to the surgeries and my unemployment will have run out by then the next best thing is try and persuade you to come here to Phoenix for 18th birthday and suprise her in her culinary arts class. I know how much this would mean to her. She is trying to win a competion from the school to attend a culinary arts school. If she wins she will have her tuition paid for. If not then she won't be able to go to school for a while. Her father and I are divorced and have been for 8 years. I am pleading with you to try and help her achieve her goals. She loves you and what you do and what you stand for. I appreciate the time you have taken to read this. Thank you again for your time.

Re: “The Fountaingrove Winery

Hi, I believe there is an earlier history for this Fountaingrove Winery. I believe it was once a highly respected Vineyard exporting wines around the world and certainly not connected originally to any strange religious cult. I found this information while I was researching my husband's Great Grandfather's Company C.W. Pearce & Co in Glasgow Scotland (formerly in Liverpool, Lancashire, UK). The company originally was owned by Mr Charles W. Bream Pearce and his wife Mrs. Isabella Duncan Pearce and they had connections with this Winery and were involved with importing the fine wines into the United Kingdom. John Waterbury seems to have started as a partner after Mr Pearce died in 1907 and moved to Glasgow Scotland about 1911 where he became Sole Owner and the company was 'Incorporated' 6/6/1930 and by then the company had moved in other imports/exports of cigars, wine, etc throughout Europe. I found some old book references which included the company name C.W.Pearce in Glasgow and the publishing of some books with the reference to 'Brotherhood' mentioned in the title. I found all this quite fascinating and am going to explore more. Would love to hear from anyone who knows any more history of the Winery/Area. I live in Australia so do not know anything about the district where this winery is located.
