This is a fantastic event supporting a wonderful cause ArtQuest. The Mardi Gras theme can't be beat for fun and excitement. The Gator Nation Band really gets the group moving, couldnt stop dancing! The food this year will be amazing, crawfish flown in fresh from Louisiana, mountains of shrimp, Jambalaya, Oysters and on and on. The silent and live auction have so many eclectic choices there is something for everyone!

Re: “The Linda Ferro Trio

Oops, bio should read that Elmar plays TENOR sax. (My dad played alto and I've been going thru a lot of his old band materials, so maybe that's what steered me to the wrong word.)

Re: “The Linda Ferro Trio

Please note: Elmar plays TENOR sax, not alto. Sorry for the error. My dad played alto sax and I have been going through a lot of his old band materials lately. Guess that steered me to the wrong word here.

Re: “Casa Rasta

i gave it 1 star cause i want somebody to read this ,so it acually -1 star into sucky zone,This place is a mecca for young 20 sumpthins to not hear any REAL REGGAe or maybe Casa Rasta is just a style to make $$$o off of.its not all the DJs fault{false advertising} who knows maybe you do 1 drop and play whats current in reggae music.I like hip'hop but not under false advertising. This place sux, after you get patted down for weapons''(red flag right there ppl!} you get to pay $30 to get in {on this nye} then get ripped off at the bar, negativaity is flourishing by this point ,then when they drop top mainstream hits,You gotta look out you dont get sucked into a gang fight style situation,!It came down to me stomping this dude for his extreme immature disrespect, and then have 5 or more of his friends {large} fight me and myself go to jail or worse,i chose to leave and take my money elsewhere, even after waiting 40 mins to get in,,i guess i did'nt realize the current hip -hop scene ,in sr no -less was entwined with such immarture stupid ego based problems..its not so much the clubs fault, they just have to deal with their lame ass customers. And with a collar only dress code for guys ,i must say any kinda upscale gentleman shit your trying to pose, just don't go with the handeling inside..my sugesstion:try a security presence up front by the side of the decks, you kno what imsaying .....but I feel i got totally ripped off, disrespected trapped, intimidated, and i left as soon as the ball dropped...thanks alot Christys for providing such a shitty place to SPEND#$$$ NYE..you suk and im never comming back and i hope any conscious ppl who read this wont either~Disgruntled..you owe me
