Re: “I Hate Me

If you are interested in all this, try Hannah Smith (digital self harm).
http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Schoolgirl-Hannah-Smith-bullied-trolls-coroner/story-20621403-detail/story.html
You mentioned tumblr as a source of support. Dangerous, if you are loved for self-harm.
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/jan/14/tallulah-wilson-inquest-teenager-hit-train-diary
And of course, the odd Megan Meier story.
You mentioned Jessi Slaughter - forced off the Internet for her own sanity, now transgender.
If you are going to mention Jessi Slaughter, then you have to mention Aurora Eller. Then maybe Giovanna Plowman. Samantha Marie? There is something VERY odd about young females online.

Great photo: appears wandering, left arm of Official E.C. is providing personal services in discovery of Steve's finest for massage?

Hispanic culture of embrace and kiss upon ears is not what this is...

Re: “Bottlerock It, Man

Maybe a smart move. Older fans can afford to buy fancy wine? I would go, but still too pricey. Good lineup, though.

Re: “Bottlerock It, Man

Sean,

Thanks for the comments. There will definitely be something for everyone, except the younger crowd, who will likely be priced out anyway. This will be a good festival for the target demographic, those of us who grew up listening to groups like Smash Mouth (Fush Yu Mang was one of the first albums I bought with my own money).

Have a good gig!

Re: “The Telltale Text

Kudos to the Bohemian for their excellent article exposing the telltale texts between Mr. Bosco and Mr. Carrillo and for finally providing justification for what many of us have suspected all along - that there is, indeed, a cozy political relationship between the two. Personally, I found the text messages between them very disturbing, as they seem to call into question the very reason why the P.D. provided so much coverage on several aspects of the Andy Lopez story, and that is, in and of itself, quite sad. There is no question that the Andy Lopez story overshadowed the sordid tale of Captain Underpants' nocturnal transgressions and subsequent arrest emanating therefrom, if only for a relatively short time. But the text message that really turned my stomach was when Mr. Bosco congratulated Effie on his appointment to the board of Sonoma Clean Power. No one - and I mean NO ONE - with whom I have spoken has voiced anything but criticism and derision for this terribly misguided appointment, which was made by Chairman of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors Chairman David Rabbitt, and now Mr. Bosco is congratulating Effie for this? P-LEASE!

But I suppose that in the end, we must look on the bright side, for if we have learned anything at all from this text-message thread, it is that we now have been provided with unmistakable proof as to just exactly where the allegiances of some of our county's movers-and-shakers lie, and that is food for thought that I am having a hard time swallowing.

Re: “The Telltale Text

Cynthia, why are you acting as a Carrillo/Bosco apologist? Your "innocent" question is actually trying to impugn the totality if the article. We've all suspected Bosco's undue influence on the PD, and now here's proof.

Add the appointment of Lisa CarreƱo to the editorial board, a way to get her name out to the community in advance of her running for Carrillo's seat. Soon Gore will get the PD's endorsement for the 4th, another member of the Bosco Boys Cabal.

Your obvious attempt to protect your husband's close personal friend, and a contemptuous stalker of women, is beneath you.

Re: “The Telltale Text

Ms. Boaz, the text messages were obtained through a public records request with Sonoma County.

Re: “The Telltale Text

Sounds like a perfect way to change the subject from Carrillo. Oh, and Cynthia? You're married to a longtime Bosco political ally. I can understand their wanting to find the leak, but you have something to disclose yourself, if you're going to talk about transparency.

Re: “The Telltale Text

Where did the Bohemian get the text messages? Isn't it convention to disclose the source, or if not, to demonstrate veracity by indicating the method by which information was obtained?

Re: “Best of 2013!

The votes are bogus...I personally know businesses who ask their friends and customers to vote for them. It's not "democratic" at all! It's all people who know people and cast votes just because a business asks them to vote for them.

Re: “Bottlerock It, Man

They aren't trying to be versitile, they are desperate to keep their word that they can do this and these are the only bands that would agree to do it. Poor planning. Poor execution. Damaged brand. No surprise here. I would not be surprised if this is a worse bloodbath than last year. I hope they pay the bills.

Re: “Petaluma or Bust

As a life long Petaluman of 46 years, the only thing I have to say to all of you is please stay away. I'm not saying go F yourself, just go away to somewhere else and live happy lives and leave our fair city completely out of your plans. Damn vallejeoites, rohnert parkites, and marinites have been trying to make this nice old farm town into their chitholes. We don't want your low income housing, or your f'n mc mansions, we just want out victorians and nice new moderate homes and good working people, and you guys can keep whatever you got going on.
