My first, and basically only, thought, reading this article, was I hope to God he doesn't reveal ALL of the precious secret spots that we have been fishing in the area since we were kids. There's already too many people out there and now, for instance, I can just see the Bolinas shore cheek to jowl with Sunday fisher people. There should be a law against publicly revealing time-honored and sorely won fishing, foraging and hiking spots that are the domain of children and those grown ups who had to "hang out"as children with the other children in-the-know. Instant knowledge is no fair. Aaaaaargh.
Ha...big learning curve.

Great article. Can't wait to sample.
You know what would be even more "impressive"? The day that ANY theater company actually casts an Arab in the role of Othello. A "moor" by the name and the times of those days was an Arab - NOT white, NOT african, NOT indian, etc. God forbid anyone should ever actually break with stereotypes and tradition and complete a play as WS actually wrote it.
I'm going to this festival this year because of the line-up. I've been waiting far too long to get back to the basics of the blues and have a line-up that hasn't toured up and down the west coast for the past year. I do respect and appreciate all past performers but this year is a treat......
I'm disappointed, as I know many others are, for the Bohemian not to mention Bill Bowker and company when reporting about the Russian River Blues Festival?? He has worked harder than anyone to keep the blues alive in and around Sonoma County and I thank you for that Bill Bowker. Lola
