It isn't a joke. KTVU issued an apology on their Facebook page.
I love that David at the very top thinks its the real names lol they actually forgot a pilot Wai Yu Mun Ching lol
"Imperative Ideas" did you even watch the video? Apparently not. It is real. I am so sick of idiots posting comments before they even know what the hell they are talking about. Do some damn research before you make yourself look like a moron.
For those of you who think this was a joke & photoshopped - check out the website for the network. It is real! http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/ktvu-apology…
I remember watching this station as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's...maybe they should dump the news and bring back Captain Cosmic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwMQt9LUP5I
This may help clarify the reason KTVU messed-up so badly, ... they are a Fox network station. No kidding.
News People,,,Lmao! When you rush to be first, you get the exclusive!
What a JOKE of a network... what kind of process is in place where this kind of juvenile crap gets broadcast?!? Are there no checks in place? The person who submitted this to be aired needs to be fired. What an incompetent bunch...
KTVU's should rename their news program to: "The Amateur Hour".

"I'm Ron Burgundy. Go f**k yourself, Asiana."
Apparently their News Editor is Bart Simpson.
This is the same TV station that interviewed homeowner 'Mike Litoris' a few years back.
Really people!!! You've been duped by RK. His statement is also a joke, say the "fake producers" name slowly.
I'm about 99% sure that's been photoshopped, though it's certainly more fun to think an entire room full of news reporters clawing to keep their jobs in a shrinking industry were too oblivious to catch the prank.
OMG I hope David is joking!!
I love how they said the names were wrong despite the NTSB confirming them.
How the producer and the person typing up the graphics didn't question this is inexplicable. It is very much a Ron Burgundy moment. In fact, the new "Anchorman" movie should incorporate it.
