Why does Kate have a okcupid account in a relationship where her "boyfriend" was trying to cheat with her!?!
"Open space is not CalTrans property.
They own so much land to enable drayage services to operate.
Yes, the isles of Redwoods were inspiring.
But the highway is set up wrong in many areas due to growth.
$30.5 million dollars will help in increasing safety, width of roadway, greater travel , sidewalks, at severe locations. The trees are not the highway but they sure were coming along in making Hwy. 101 North appear as Hwy. 280, San Mateo County. Just patience and volunteer planting may help out after completion and new locations to provide visual Redwood trees.
Michelle,
Are you planning to pay for the dredging of the Petaluma river, harbor, turning basin, channel, creek drainage, floods are coming...Set aside twelve million dollars its bad, real bad. I would be embarrassed for interfering with the stewards of the Petaluma River and their operations with asphalt and moving gravel from barges. They took care of the community. You want to cut them off from South County grandfathered Union sites, U.S. Longshoreman sites. Shame on you and your blues. Accept change and plant/work on your own property away from the highway. It works for my tree forest from the 50' Cedars taken from the Trinity Alps as one foot seedlings.
$30.5 million dollar contract and you're snivling on trees planted upon CalTrans land?
Bridges, overpasses frontage roads. big concrete pours, creek pile driving, column boring, land stabilization, slope. water diversion, demolition of concrete recycling, staging areas, etc.
Were you ever employed as an estimator for highway construction.
No, I wonder what you print has any basis to business.
The gift of 200 trees to Sturgeons Historic Mill on Greenhill Rd . Seb. was wonderful for public school services.
The only running steam powered mill perhaps in the U.S. and they receive local classes of school kids being shown the original way of milling.
The trees will be replanted and used as visuals, sound barriers, etc.
David, Thanks for letting us know what is going on. I've been so disturbed with seeing all the redwoods being taken down... Wish I had known before, wonder if we could have stopped it??? So sad... Speaking of the Gateway to Sonoma County, whatever happened to the Dutra building? Is it still in court?
-Michele W.
Since we seem to be transitioning to the much-vaunted "Wine Country", does that mean that CalTrans is going to start planting grapes alongside the new and improved 101? There will be at least 3-4 years before a landscaping and revegetation plan is decided by CalTrans and SCTA, so there will be an even longer period for drivers and visitors to stare at freshly mowed bare land.
In Petaluma, CalTrans is building a formulaic new South Petaluma Boulevard Interchange, which not only "required" cutting the entire heron and egret rookery trees (yeah, the lowly eucalyptus), but is also going to grace the Gateway to Sonoma County with a 40' high standard issue overcrossing and 4 traffic lights for southbound commuters, where there are none now.
CalTrans: not known for grace or design, no less concern about local traffic congestion.
It was horrifying to read this article and realize that nothing has changed since 1960 when the school committee in Sausalito launched the first integration attempt of the schools by removing me and 5 boys from Bayside school and bused us into the MLK (Richarson Bay School) in 1960. It is an abomination to hear that nothing has changed, in the self proclaimed, " most progressive state in the nation". How can it be that there is still a segregated Marin City and an elitist Sausalito? What century are you in?????
Instead of addressing the toxic degradation of the segregation of Marin City from Sausalito , the town of Sausalito now seeks to promote further segregation by funding a charter school in Sausalito and busing for" the rest of the students of Sausaltio to MLK."
The segregation of students in Sausalito and Marin City led to race riots when all students joined together at Tamalpais High School in 1960. This system of segregation led to horrific violence at the high school as students tried to accomodate to the new cultures that were totally foreign to them. This segregation was and continues to be a travesty.
This article speaks about creating a charter school in Sausalito for some students and "dumping all the other students in MLK." This would be exactly the case should this proposal be agreed upon by the town. It is shameful.
I ask that you ALL consider carefully the fact that there should be no Marin City...Sausaltio should catch up with the rest of the nation and integrate the two areas, with low- income housing available throughout the two areas and thus stopping the perpetuatiion of the cruelty of segregation for all of its citizens, the most valuable being children.
The meeting that finalizes this deal is tonight and is open to the public.

thanks!!
just started using a CBD tincture 3:2 cbd:THC and it works amazinggggggggg on anxiety and SAD and an overactive mind. 1 squirt which cost about 50 cents works for 8 hours totally worth finding at your local dispensary or if you live in California you can have them mail it to you
In case you didn't read the actual patent you are referencing, Saavy, it does not patent cannabis, but patents research towards a specific delivery system of isolated cannabinoid molecules (and the patent has since expired). And while I do find it wholly disingenuous of the Fed Govt to classify cannabis as a Schedule I drug while behind the curtain it (in conjunction with pharmaceutical companies) funds research into cannabis' medical properties , this is not news. Just look at the disaster known as Marinol.
I'm just curious: Exactly what statement(s) in the article inspired you to make the claim that it is proto-Feds/Big Pharma?
Its really true that ,very high quality beer is very helpful. Thanks to your beer information.

I just ran across this article and your comments. I want to thank you for such wonderful testimonies. I've been a member of Ripon Grange for almost 60 years. I grew up in it as my parents were beekeepers here and husband and family carry on the tradition. The members all are long-time friends and the traditions and support for families, small town and farm interests is still on-going in this area. Our membership slips a little each year but we hope to come through in a strong position to build support. The Prop 37 aspect is one I hadn't thought of, though. Very interesting!
@ Grace McNamee Decker, until you have lived through an event like Virginia Tech (like I have), you are just speculating like the rest. Take it from a guy that was there, if I was carrying, (or any other trained, responsible person) was carrying, the count would not have reached over 10.
For those in Healdsburg who want to party locally check out the Old School Funk and Disco Party at Frank & Ernie's Steakhouse (9 Mitchell Ln) featuring DJ Terpenoid and DJ Bank$hot spinning the best rare grooves mixed with dashes of electronica, Brazilian groove and selected modern classics.
This is a bunch of hog wash. Ari, why haven't written about Eric Holder and Barack Obama and the thousands of guns (Which led to hundreds of murders in Mexico) they illegally sold to cartels. Those individuals are the ones who should not own guns . Your a hunter?? I doubt it , you should thank the NRA they have been the only ones that have truly stood up to our authoritarian government on guns.
Lastly, did you hear the story 2 days ago about what happened in Sacramento?
"
"California family was enjoying the Christmas holiday as the children were having a sleepover when a home intruder broke into their home. The homeowner, who was looking to protect his family took action and shot and killed the invader. A gun battle occurred at 3:30 A.M. on Saturday morning outside of the home. The homeowner was treated for gunshot wounds along with two other suspects.
The Identification of the deceased home intruder has not yet been released. 21-year-old Thomas Ordonaz, who was also injured in the shooting was later arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and accessory."
I suppose you didn't hear this one did you? Possibly more children would have been dead if this man was not able to defend himself with his own guy. I hope that you follow up on your last garbage article with something about this event!
Thank-you, Ari Levaux, for clearing up a misconception. Not knowing any hunters, I've always assumed that they walked hand-in-hand with the NRA. I hope this inspires other non-NRA hunters to speak out.
Re: “Not So OK, Cupid”
haha so many unanswered questions..
