Re: “Full 'Spectrum'

Let's not forget it was also one of Tommy Bolin's finest moments on record. The delay effect he does with the tape machine on Quadrant, for example, is just insane.

Re: “The History of Thinking

it is truly an honor to have studied with Mark at SSU. His commitment to teaching, passion for painting and dedication to critical discourse made a lasting impact on me as a young student and inspired me to be the artist I am today.

Re: “Recoup d'Etat

How much money did entertainment Mr. John Beck make on pumping a failure in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat?...The show only would run well on Saturday and Sunday...THis was given..Yet discarded...Was mgt. on MDMA?......The rest was lost money and blood, sweat, broken bones for Union workers and private contractors going under.......

Re: “Recoup d'Etat

sounds like the promoters pulled off a massive fraud...ala Donald Trump - ego and all - it's called working with OPM (other people's money) - when it doesn't work, you just walk away, then file for bankruptcy - Wine Country seems to be attracting more than its fair share of parasitic types these days - we have been overpromoted, hyped and conned - tiny Sonoma City now has 12 major banks supporting the billionaire's efforts to destroy our little sanctuary - it's beyond tragic - the octopus has arrived and spreading its destructive tentacles throughout the counties - it's positively creepy...

Re: “The History of Thinking

thank you, Mark Perlman. you really inspired all of us students and taught all of us how to look at mark making and line quality and composition in a way that continues to make sense. i still go back to so much of what you taught us about structure and purpose and hard work. your teaching still informs my current work. thank you for an excellent educational experience.
congratulations on your much deserved retirement! best wishes to you!!

Re: “Parental Advisory

It sounds like the Focus on the Family people actually dug reviewing all of those albums. 400? Really? How selfless. Those swears and sexes outside of wedlock thrilled them with their evilness. Anyone who reviews anything (umm, like me) knows how cheap-shot gratifying it can be to pan something that gets your goat. Chart Watch wasn't about performing a service for anyone except the egos of its authors.

I'm told the 8:00 show sold out days ago, and that they added a 10:00 show to accommodate all those who were shut out! The phone number above will not help.

Re: “Parental Advisory

Gabe, Secular Humanist Fundie, Evolutionist kool-aid drinker.....get real and step up to to the mic....."sound and fury signifying nothing," says the Darwinsts when their epistemic hands are cuffed, there is no there, there, nada,no thing, nothing! Let's go back to Phil 101, without an objective standard, God, you have nothing to rail against. Shut your bohemian piehole up and cry out for God's grace to have mercy on you if He should so ordain such a great feat. Otherwise, continue your pathetic railing against all true Truth and incur the just deserved wrath that has been part of your dna mtrix from a little baby boy.

Re: “Not Exactly for Kids

So, when USA Fascists direst the killing of 2.5 million people for political reasons, this is good. And the killing never stopped. So far, the USA has directly killed more people than the old USSR. Even the artificial famines created for Capitalism far outdid the killing done by Stalin's artificial famines. And yet, even today, many so-called "conservatives" feel that anything done by Capitalism and by the USA government is "good", even if it is worse than what the old USSR did. Fascism, that old dirty word, is the only word capable of describing the evil we live with.
