Bourbon can be made anywhere in America... period
Pasta made without eggs? Impossibile!
Love these people, love this place.
Beverly, in September on Whidbey in my 10 miles there was no grain, no beans, very little winter squash, no tubers other than potatoes. Even if I weren't a meat eater, living on summer veggies alone would have been a big challenge.
What was so wrong with living on the veggies?
Glad to know there's another source of burrata - we've been sucked in to its deliciousness at Rendevous Bistro. Also, got to hold the knowledge of burrata over my supposed gourmet brother-in-law.
Digital read thermometer probes have been a lifesaver for me, because I don't cook enough meat (except on the grill) to really know by "feel" or experience when that whole turkey/beef roast/crown roast is really done..but I have to agree with their flimsiness! Usually it's the metal wire leading from the probe that fails, usually from...HEAT. Wouldn't you think they'd take into account during the design process? "Our product will be used in 500 degree grills. I guess heat resistance to 200 should be sufficient."
I have had their delicious dinners 2x and will be back for more. Each course of the meal is carefully paired with a (often hard to get) wine... With amazing results!
Looks like the " good-Ol-days" still exist at the farm in Santa Rosa.
I really like this m/c rider, former racer.....And his personality his great..."War stories to Here and Now," Francesco is a good stop for conversation and great food....
At Heritage Public House in Santa Rosa, we have found this as a good resource to offer fresh locally farmed products at our gastropub to local consumers while helping the farmers as well. It's a win for all concerned .
A wonderful idea!
welcome to a new philosophy:
Don and I met friends for an excellent lunch at Canneti Roadhouse today! When you go, try the Fritto Misto, the Rabbit Ragu, or the sublime Gnocchi with Eggplant Ragu.
!!!!Yes, the best mexican food, on this area, i live in Healdsburg and i go very often to sabastopol rd, i went today for a milanesa so good, everybody love the place, will be nice if they have a design like a taco truck.
Great story. Can't wait to try this restaurant!
My $100 check was not cashed until I passed the drug a d alcohol test, the casino background check and then the background check the gaming commission conducted. I then did all the employment processing paperwork with HR, then they cashed my check.
The $100 is for a gaming license. Not the background check. Although you have to pass the background check to obtain the gaming license.
I am questioning a $100 background check fee for applicants. it seems exorbitant. is this being mandated to candidates who are really on the fringe of actually being hired - or an "oh by the way" you might not get the job (even if your BC comes back clean)? fees for a solid BC don't have to be so much. this appears to be marked-up pricing. I 'get' that a candidate is entitled to keep the info later and could use it for another job if needed, but this is a high cost. it should be reimbursed, at least partially if one is hired and mandated only when management is 'pretty sure' they want this person. Can the PD or the NBBJ investigate the legality?
TAPS is my favorite place in Petaluma. Good luck, Eric! We'll follow you wherever you end up. Too bad the landlord doesn't see the long term value in having the coolest spot in town be under his roof!
