Re: “Wild Birds of Northern California

This is an extraordinarily dedicated group of folks, and the lecture series are always great, with very knowledgeable speakers in the area of their particular bird or topic.

Re: “Jeff Speakman's Kenpo / Wu Academy Sebastopol

My son had been dealing with a school which started to decline when the head instructor decided to expand and lost many of his adult students. Luckily, one day we drove by this studio and my son was captivated by the Mixed Martial Arts demonstration hosted by the Studio CO-OP. My son has once again learned to defend himself, enjoys karate, and has gained self confidence and friends. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. If you want your child to thrive, this is the school for you. Also, the Adult classes are amazing.

Re: “md squared

I really enjoyed these guys from Amsterdam! They demonstrated that music is universal.
They had great choices in rthyms and combined it with a simple and perfect "Sweetwater" atmosphere. Having done that, it was a fantastic night to dance, dance, dance and that's what I love! md squared had a full sound even though they were 3 musicans. They have great style and stage presence. All they want to do is share good music! They're message was beautiful, solid, proven and real! yeah, I'm old school, call me an ole hippie or call me the Cap'm, these guys are good fun and a good time! Watch'um, don't miss'um next time!....and don't forget to thank Sweetwater management for their great choices in bands. Regards, The Cap'm

Re: “Fishstock

This event rocks!!! Dress for fog, but prepare for sun - this event is always fun - great food music and can't beat the view where the river meets the sea - in beautiful downtown Jenner-by-the-Sea.

Re: “Sonoma Mountain Zen Center

Absolutely an amazing a beautiful place. This is a traditional Zen monastery with residency, lay practice and retreats. Every time I am there I get the feeling of coming home. This is also a very exciting time as change is in the air, come up and visit us.

Re: “Become A Yoga Teacher in Santa Rosa

Namaste to you! I see the stars are crossed in the dates above, let me clarify. The training begins on Oct 11, not Oct 4. You can call me if you want a tour of the Yoga & Meditation and want to talk about the training. Gayatri 707- 239- 3650

Pinhole photography lends an image of mystique and grace and the photographs of Ira Meinhofer do not disappoint. His camera eye is beautiful and sensitive to what would perhaps be considered ordinary moments. I felt inspired by this exhibit: "Sexy Tree" and "Spring Blooms", to name just two. Ira's perspective brings the viewer beyond a pinhole into a much greater world.
