Pundit Power

"The State of the Country" is the hot topic of discussion when Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey and left-leaning political pundit Bill Press (Crossfire, The Spin Room) get together to discuss gridlock in Washington, the Republican primaries and the looming election next November. Time will be allotted for audience questions (and venting). The event promises a no-host bar and desserts afterward. The conversation rolls on Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Dance Palace. 503 B St., Pt. Reyes Station. 7pm. $15. 415.663.1075.—Leilani Clark
