Please join us for this Hands-On 2 part Beekeeping Series and Fundraiser for Homeward Bound of Marin. "Introduction to Backyard Beekeeping" will occur at 10am - noon and discuss the 12-month cycle of keeping bees through a slide show and lecture. We conclude by visiting the Homeward Bound hives. Next up is "Introduction to Honey Spinning" at 1:00- 3:00pm where we’ll demonstrate how to uncap honeycomb, spin and bottle honey. Be prepared for some sticky fun! A lunch buffet featuring honey will be available between sessions for an extra charge. All proceeds benefit shelter and job-training programs at Homeward Bound.
