To Be or Not to Be: Jack Benny plays a hammy actor playing Hamlet in Ernst Lubitsch's 1942 black comedy about a troupe of Polish actors who must outwit the Nazis. Screens Jan. 14 and 15.

Same Old Song: Acclaimed French director Alain Resnais delivers a deceptively light, bouncy film about the way pop culture shapes our thoughts and feelings. Screens Jan. 21 and 22.

Jews and Buddhism and Delta Jews: Pair of documentaries explore Jewish life in America. Petaluma filmmaker Bill Chayes (Jews and Buddhism) appears in person. Screens Jan. 28 and 29.

All films play at Sonoma State University, Darwin Hall, 1801 E. Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park. They begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $4. For details, call 664-2606.
