Sturgeon’s Mill Restoration Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The mill is dedicated to restoring the historic steam powered lumber mill to its original condition of running on live steam.
The mill runs periodically for the general public on scheduled weekends and are available for students and special interest group tours at mutually agreeable times as a Working Museum.
The mill still houses an irreplaceable wealth of relics of its own magnificent history such as old hand tools, the steam-powered engine dating from the late 19th century, the blacksmith shop, logging trucks, the mill office and an extensive photographic record.
