Join Us as We Celebrate Unsung Heroes

THE SONOMA COUNTY INDEPENDENT honors eight local artists for their outstanding contribution to the community at the 1st annual Indy Awards. Savor fine food from Mistral, Cafe Lolo, and others; sample wine and beer from more than a dozen local wineries and microbreweries. Dance to the Savoy Swingers (above) and the Artifacts; and enjoy a performance by Commedia della'Rosa. KRSH deejay Bill Bowker will emcee the awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit local youth in the arts programs. Join us Thursday, July 2, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Paradise Ridge Winery, 4545 Thomas Lake Harris Drive, Santa Rosa. Tickets are $30 (available at all Copperfield's Books stores and the Spreckels Performing Arts Center box office). Order by phone (527-1200); fax (527-1288; or the Internet (Indy@livewire.com).
