Re: “Guerneville Community Church

For local music, this is a little known spot - out behind a church provides up close and personal interaction with many fine artists from around West Sonoma County and beyond. They offer limited beers and soft drinks for like a buck, and you sit on bales of hay or beneath trees to listen. There is never any charge to come enjoy these artists on Sunday afternoons (2-6). These are put on by KGGV FM, a local, community supported radio station with its studios right there - near the Summer Concert Series outdoor stage. And check out the FM radio station too, streaming live worldwide from kggv.fm. NO COMMERCIALS!

Re: “Old Chicago Pizza

It's very good pizza. Lots of cheese on a deep dish. The Medium-sized mushroom and garlic is one of their best. Don't choose too many ingredients; usually one or two. Don't order a large - for some reason, they skimp on the ingredients on their large pizzas; and they're very expensive. Stick with the medium-size and you'll be pleased. I've been eating Old Chicago pizzas for over 30 years. Sometimes, you just have to have one! Like a burger attack... They take about 30 minutes to cook, it's deep-dish after all. A medium will set you back about $21.85 for about 6 pieces on a medium, and most people will only eat one or two pieces - they're big and thick.

Re: “Yo el Rey Roasting

Excellent coffee and very friendly staff : Molly , Jessie or Max , you really can't go wrong with any of these three . My brother turned me on to this little spot right off the main drag and I will always support a small independent over a larger business as can be found right up the road on Lincoln , the main drag through Calistoga .

Re: “Bodyworks Yoga Studio

If you want to be more comfortable in your body, try out this Feldenkrais workshop. I attended Margot's Head to Toes Feldenkrais Workshop Series at Bodyworks, and I have been more flexible and relaxed ever since, and I don't have constant back pain anymore.

Re: “First Edition

First Edition is not the same place it was a year ago. New owners making positive changes. Sat. - Live Bands (no cover), Sun. - Open Mic, Wed., Sonoma County Blues Jam, Thurs. - Karaoke, Fri. - DJ.

You can also shoot pool, play darts or give your luck a try at trivia, card or sports games on Buzztime. And then again...you can just sit back and relax!!!

Oh...almost forgot to mention they have Wii bowling, just ask anyone to bowl with you!!!
