Re: “July 20: The 24 Hour Plays at Lincoln Theater

Worst theater I have ever seen! Over a third of the audience left. No Calista! Bad writing.
65.00 and 10 to park. Did I say it was bad. Improv with no writer could have had more drama.

Re: “July 13: Karilee Halo Shames In Conversation with Lynn Woolsey at Book Passage.

I want to thank those who came all the way to Marin (ha!) on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to join me in speaking with Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey.

As always, she is grace and truth combined. It was lovely to get to visit with her after she's had a few months to unwind. I also very much enjoyed meeting her daughter again, after many years.

I'm guessing she could use a lot more unscheduled time, after 22 years of flying back and forth from CA to DC. (You go, Lynn, and enjoy it; you've served us well.)

Not to mention the challenges she faced in the halls of Congress. Think of what she must have endured, the first welfare mother, standing alone 412 times to stop the Iraq war.

Lynn reminded us that we can never take any thing for granted; if we believe in it, we need to be sure it remains, whatever that takes. It can take fighting.

I pray for our country, and those working hard to ensure our freedoms.

I also remind you to check out the book

Blessings and Love

Re: “July 13: Karilee Halo Shames In Conversation with Lynn Woolsey at Book Passage.

It's going to be a great event!

Come meet our congresswoman and learn how she overcame the odds, provided for her family as a single mother, fought for women's rights in both private and public arenas, and became an inspiring mentor for so many of us!

Re: “July 4: Santa Rosa Symphony (and Fireworks) at the Green Music Center

This was awful! A few pops, then nothing. "Technical difficulties" ... They should refund everyone their money.

Re: “Oct. 7: Calabash-A Festival of Gourds, Arts and Gardens at Food for Thought

Please note that yellow crookneck squash is now being genetically modified by having different species genes from bacteria and virus inserted into its DNA.

That means in addition to corn, sugar beets, soybeans and canola and all the thousands of products made from them eating this squash can laterally transfer the bioengineered genes into your stomach flora and make them continuing producing the pesticide in your stomach.

Oh well, at least the insects and worms will die in your belly. Of course your children can get allergies, autism, leaky gut syndrome and other autoimmune conditions from this. You may get prostate and breast cancer and other conditions like fatique and premature aging. It's a risky gamble with you winning nothing but supposedly pest free food and the house winning every time in the extra expenses to grow these crops and as a bonus, the money from selling the special herbicide that the plants can resist and are drenched with.

It would be nice if genetically modified foods were labeled.
Vote Yes on Prop 37 to label them.

This youtube video, the 84 minute version, will educate about this.
