Re: “Top Torn Tickets Take 2

Thanks, Harry. Most of the Bohemian boxes in Petaluma are smashed and empty so finding a copy is pretty hit or miss -- especially if you want one that is dry and not soaked and moldy from rain. I'll search your website for the column. Thanks.

Re: “Top Torn Tickets Take 2

I can only assume the next column will have the Best Musicals and that The Cinnabar's "Little Shop of Horrors" will be on it.

Re: “Top Torn Tickets

I saw Merman’s Apprentice and was overwhelmed by the seventeen “apprentice” who could go all the Broad-WAY

Re: “Holiday Calendar

The listing for the occidental chorus is wildly inaccurate. From the wrong choral director to nonexistant dates and venues. Poorly done. Aldo missing information on Unión hotel holiday singalong.

Re: “On the Precipice

Nice. Hopefully I can make it to one of your showcases this year. You’ve always been so talented. I’m hoping Fetty and I can make it this month to your show.

Re: “Changing Tones

I don't know enough about theater to know what makes it all work, but I do know what I do and don't like. I was disappointed in the 6th Street production of Gypsy last month and questioned if I would return to this theater again. There was one excellent performer, and while there wasn't anyone who was noticeably bad, it lacked something that I can't describe. I am not surprised by this review of their Oliver. I have been looking for good theater here in Sonoma County and mostly I am still looking, but I have to say that we have a real treasure here in The Imaginists. I saw them in the park this summer, and while they did go a little too far off the edge a couple of times, I could not recommend them more! Having just seen Hamilton my standards have just gotten even higher so hopefully 6th Street will improve and that The Imaginists will have many more productions.

Re: “Dark City

Both plays run through Nov. 10, and are published in the Nov. 16 Bohemian. Is this the correct end date?

Re: “Metal Head

There is nothing here in sonoma county.
Only manipulative people,fuck bois,and fakes.
Even if you tried to have any kind of metal shows people are too stoned to listen.

Please someone establish some kind of metal here

Re: “Self Aware

It doesnt make sense compare two different productions of 2 different plays as if they were written and performed with the same artistic intent.
Does room for meaningful reflection mean that the action of the play is interrupted now and then in order for the audience to reflect on the ideas presented? Does the play have a focus? Is it about all the tender and tense moments that comprise a relationship? Or about how different women view their bodies in relation to art and sexuality? How being on the spectrum can lead to funny moments? Whats the main focus? Whats the action of the play centered on?
This is little more plot summary and a few unsupported compliments to some of the actors, which is apparently what passes for theatre criticism in the Bohemian.

Re: “The Dispossessed

We saw The Last Black Man in San Francisco and it was a beautiful film, poignant and memorable. Following the tradition of local films, we are shooting a film in the North Bay in fall of 2019. If you have experience or background in being in a production crew, please feel free to read the crew positions we seek and reach out below.
