Re: “River Song

I have been suffering from (HERPES) disease for the last four years and had constant pain, especially in my knees. During the first year, I had faith in God that I would be healed someday. This disease started to circulate all over my body and I have been taking treatment from my doctor, a few weeks ago I came on search on the internet if I could get any information concerning the prevention of this disease, on my search I saw a testimony of someone who has been healed from (Hepatitis B and Cancer) by this Man DR Alli and she also gave the email address of this man and advise we should contact him for any sickness that he would be of help, so I wrote to DR Alli telling him about my (HERPES Virus) he told me not to worry that I was going to be cured!! hmm i never believed it,, well after all the procedures and remedy given to me by this man few weeks later I started experiencing changes all over me as the DR assured me that I have cured, after some time i went to my doctor to confirmed if I have been finally healed behold it was TRUE, So friends my advice is if you have such sickness or any other at all you can email DR Alli on( sir I am indeed grateful for the help I will forever recommend you to my friends!!! with your lovely Email Address ( or you can also WhatsApp him on this number +2348100772528

Re: “Studio City

I cannot believe the Bohemian assigned Richard Busack to review this movie. He's got it all bass-ackwards and was apparently so busy being a macho skeptic and resisting Emma Stones' charm that he neglects to mention that the film's plot has a millennial poignancy that updates it and makes it a satisfying tale. Ryan Gosling nails it, too, even for an old baby-boomer like me.

Re: “Splash Hit

"No one... forgets that Sullenberger...saved the lives of some 150 passengers", yet everyone forgets that because Sully was watching the "beautiful view of the river...", he set in motion the event that endangered the lives, not just of the 'some 15 passengers', but those who had to rescue them.
The NTSB was right: Sully could have made it back to LGA. He didn't because he choked. It's too bad that Mr. Eastwood missed it.

Re: “Vertigo

Man On Wire is superlative, in every way this article says The Walk is not. The ONLY added "value" (3D is hardly that), is in including the over-rated eye candy.

I avoid 3D when I can. It adds VERY little, but it takes away even more, by "reminding" us periodically of it's own drawbacks.

DIMNESS, is one of those unavoidable drawbacks. That dimness is caused by the medium itself, because providing us with enough light to see, would also provide enough for the viewer to readily perceive the color "fringes" that supply the 3D perspective.

That is the ONLY reason that cinema 3D glasses are always tinted, is to lower the perceptibility of those side fringes. This INHERENT dimness strains the eyes, just as reading in the dark does. People come out of 3D films cranky.

And it really doesn't add anything to the experience, as the FILM TECHNIQUE of responding to depth adds all that by itself, without the technical and psychological overhead.

3D is only a try at a new Cash Cow by the Cinema Industry. It will fail, as every new-and-intrusive technology is doomed to do, UNTIL they find an actual NON-intrusive way to do it.

Re: “His Last Case

I love the character of Holmes too much to see this movie, good as it might be. Sometimes it's best to let our idols be frozen at their peak.

Re: “'Selma' Stumbles

What was so regrettable about Selma was that it falsely portrayed the role of President Johnson and completely left out the role of Rabbi Heschel who was a critical supporter of Dr. King. Rabbi Heschel was by Dr. King's side during the Selma march, Dr. King called him "my rabbi", and Dr. King was planning on spending Passover with Rabbi Heschel just before he was shot.

Re: “The Eyes Have It

I doubt I'm the first, nor the last, to point out Von Busack's boo-boo in identifying Danny Huston's character in "Big Eyes." Huston played San Francisco Examiner columnist Dick Nolan. Von Busack mistakenly cited James Bacon, longtime columnist for the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner. Not mentioning any names, but some movie reviewers ought to watch the credits before writing about the characters. Just sayin'....

Re: “Hey Whitey

This movie is NOT set at Whitman College (which is a real life top liberal arts college in the US) but at fictional "Winchester University". Please correct your story.

Re: “Sonoma County Filmmakers

I am really trying hard to make shorts, but, it is hard in this town Santa Rosa. Once you get started people drop out or wan't more money to shoot, and edit. I have been trying to do it on my own, but I don't think it is festival worthy. I know there are film companies to join in S.F., but I need something more local, due to time limits. I'm going to try to make it to as much film festivals as I can this year. thank you, Real2Reel Productions

Re: “Inside Job

You people on the Boho have an amusing priority structure: here Rachel Dovey goes and uses up six full pages all but conferring sainthood on Will Parrish of the Anderson Valley Advertiser for bravely enough making a temporary fixture of himself on a CalTrans contract stitcher, and yet Leilani Clark rations out a paltry four rather anemic and inconsequential short paragraphs to what is indisputably the single most destructive hoax against the American people in their entire history: the triply misnomered so called "federal reserve bank" which is using the name "federal" fraudulently and in violation of Title XVIII USC 709 and is NOT a bank as lawfully defined. The "fed" is a foreign, privately owned credit cartel, not a "bank", and has been directly and feloniously responsible for sodomizing the American working people bowlegged out of their substance and their very lives often enough for almost exactly one century...and Leilani's comically brief remarks are tucked away on page 26 constituting a virtual subliminal frame for some readers. By intent most likely.
This celluloid, MONEY FOR NOTHING, may well be worth seeing, but I would be willing to bet rubies to dead cockroaches that nowhere in that film do they once mention that the i.r.s., in all its perfidy and gross violation of the Constitution, has never once been anything other than an armed collection agency for the "fed" and was bastard-spawned in the exact same year, 1913.
A lot more could be said but it would run into book length before I even got started so I drop it here.
If anyone wishes to see thee real and very ugly truth about the federal reserve prank, I cannot praise Aaron Russo's FREEDOM TO FASCISM too highly.
