Re: “A New Purpose

An amazing endeavor brought to completion with inspiration and hard work. I so very much enjoy the simple yet sophisticated ambiance. The art work is wonderful and the furnishings are by far the best selections I have ever seen in sonoma county.

Excellent article, thank you for your neat perspective on a place that is putting Fulton on the map through the work and amazing talent of local sonoma county artists.

Re: “West End Wonder

Do parking meters operate on Sundays? Maybe not.

Re: “Metal Head

Never been to a metal show...and I like what he's doing! I think I might just head out there on Saturday night. Live music will never die in Sonoma county.

Re: “Punk-Rock Memories

This show was a blast - thanks to everyone involved. The photo shown above was taken at a party where Tower of Swine (TOS) played far too many years ago. This year's Nostalgia Festival was the first time TOS played together in more than 30 years. Here is a link to a video of that performance.

Hard to call it a "solitary boo" when a comment gets 7 likes.

Re: “Naughty and Nice

To Serena Goldsmith's quibble over the "blatantly edited" use of a critical review. Agreed that the review is carefully worded, but the producers leave out the critic's issues with Coward's play which are notoriously difficult for modern audiences. Your consternation reminds me of a review of the original 1941 production: "London received Mr. Noel Coward's ghoulish farce with loud, though not quite unanimous acclaim. There was a solitary boo – from an annoyed spiritualist, presumably."

The performance at 6th Street that I saw was polished, well-paced, uniformly well-performed with a very hard veneer that Coward is known for.
