Re: “Retrospect Gallery

I don't know what world this one-star rater lives in, but this has not been my experience at all. I've bought some wonderful pieces at Retrospect at very fair prices. The owner has always been very generous with his time and sharing his knowledge and insights. Also, I've been in countless times, and have never detected an unpleasant odor. And good grief -- this is a one-person shop. The man has to eat on occasion to sustain himself! Better that he grab a bite there than shutter up when hunger strikes and inconvenience potential customers. Perhaps this person would be happier shopping in the sterile environment of chain department stores. I prefer an environment with some history and character.

Re: “Outland

Gorgeous space, totally fun and different vibe. Wines were spectacular - huge variety between three winemakers; Poe, Farella and Forlorn Hope. Two killer ross and the best Chenin Blanc!

Re: “Guerneville Community Church

For local music, this is a little known spot - out behind a church provides up close and personal interaction with many fine artists from around West Sonoma County and beyond. They offer limited beers and soft drinks for like a buck, and you sit on bales of hay or beneath trees to listen. There is never any charge to come enjoy these artists on Sunday afternoons (2-6). These are put on by KGGV FM, a local, community supported radio station with its studios right there - near the Summer Concert Series outdoor stage. And check out the FM radio station too, streaming live worldwide from NO COMMERCIALS!

Re: “Shakespeare in the Cannery

IN THE MOOD is a sparkling musical adaptation to Shakespeare's Much Ado about Nothing
Set in 1945 post war era filled with swing music, 3 part harmonies, live jazz orchestra....astoundingly well, perfected live swing dance assemble to be performed in this Area. This period piece fills a full summer sun set harvest of wine, music and shakespeare on a picnic blanket under the stars.
