Re: “Bunny Tale

Next we can talk about the fake videos of "cruelty" by fanatics (including a convicted kidnapper), who trespass onto farms and when nobody is looking, create staged scenarios they can film. Like wrapping a chain around their own neck as their film crew stands by to capture the Oscar performance. Or snipping the cage's wires and removing the food bowl, placing it outside of the cage to the mink (Susie) has to poke her head through the cut wires to access her food on a highly edited video including still shots and unsupported conclusions by the narrator. I spoke with the detectives who investigated the claim and were accompanied by the State veterinarian and Public Health officials, but found no evidence of actual abuse. When these public officials went back to PETA to request a copy of the unedited video, PETA refused. When these public officials asked PETA to put them in contact with the person who allegedly witnessed the events, PETA refused to cooperate. Time and again, public officials who have investigated these claims of "abuse" have come up empty handed because the evidence just doesn't support the claim. AB 44 is not at all about the truth. But Joseph Goebbels would be very proud of the PR campaigns these fascist groups have created to manipulate the public.

Re: “Bunny Tale

As a lobbyist who is working on this issue, I have personally seen how AB 44 has nothing to do with the truth or facts. Nothing about AB 44 is about "animals who are just killed for their fur". By example, the mink, which has been domestically raised for 200 generations, is all used up (mink oil, fur, meat for other animals including crabs because seals avoid the traps, mixed into feed stock for other agricultural animals, and more). The claims of "killed inhumanely and cruelly" is also false -- the fur farms use Carbon Dioxide (CO2), just like our "humane" animal shelters when euthanizing their dogs and cats. Then there's the claim of "no regulation of the industry" -- in fact, it is one of the most highly regulated industries, since 1951 accurate and provable labeling laws require type and country of origin, as well as paperwork which is scrutinized by U.S. Dept. of Fish & Wildlife Services, authorized to even do DNA testing to make sure what is in the package is what the paperwork says it is. US FWS seizes and destroys any product which has even a minor technical typo in the accompanying paperwork. What AB 44 is really about is extreme fanatics who want a vegan world forcing their version of morality upon everyone else. Merely for speaking my opinion, they have committed battery upon me, make threats of violence, made threatening and harassing phone calls to me, and continue to show they nothing short of fascists.
