Phone: 707-538-2831

An annual autumnal harvesting of the ripest, juiciest, most delicious, and savory songs from Italy and France’s musical vineyards; includes dances, sad romantic tales, and dramatic expressions of abundance, hope, and the changing of the seasons. Featured works include “Tango delle Capinere” (about miners in the American Southwest); the drinking song from Verdi’s La Traviata, “Libiamo”, some wild Neapolitan Tarantellas, seductive, sultry tangos and rumbas, the tambourine-inspired dances of Sicily, and the seasonal French favorites such as “Autumn Leaves”, the frenetic carousel of late summer “La Carousel de Mille Temps”, and the love-lost ballads of Paris and Rome.
