Just what was John C. Frémont doing in Mexican California in the spring and summer of 1846? Dave Brummet and Jim Danaher, “The History Boys,” describe Frémont’s movements and activities in and around Sonoma during the time of the Bear Flag Republic. The lecture takes place in the chapel of Mission San Francisco Solano in Sonoma. Admission: $10/general public, $5/SPPARKS members, free for docents and staff.
