Where Worlds Collide

SONOMA STATE PROFESSOR Ann Woodhead--an adventurous dancer and choreographer--never fails to amaze us with dazzling, thought-provoking works that often blend the classical and the modern. Case in point: She has created a trilogy of multimedia plays that include a look at the mythological Greek characters Jason and Medea--25 years after they stole the Golden Fleece. Her innovative style has not escaped the attention of our readers either--they have just anointed her dance company as the best in the county.
