Compassionate Living kicks off the first of three events in the LEAP (Loving Earth, Animals, and People) Marin Summer Speaker Series with Miyoko Schinner, Marin’s own celebrity chef and founder and CEO of Miyoko’s Kitchen, as the featured speaker. Miyoko will explore the fascinating future of food and the powerful ways our food choices can improve our health, the environment, and the lives of others on the planet. Miyoko will also share about the four-legged and feathered friends enjoying life at Rancho Compasión, her farm animal sanctuary in Nicasio that provides a safe, loving home to over 80 rescued animals.
