Join this guided Planet Walk with Observatory docents who introduce each planet in our solar system while meandering beside spring wildflowers along the way. Hikers receive “passports” booklets, and a stamp for each planet reached. Options for this hike: (1) Hike Meadow trail to Brushy Peaks trail until reaching Uranus, then head back on Hillside trail (2-mile loop with 250 ft elevation gain). (2) Hike the full 6.3-mile, 1100 ft elevation gain Planet Walk Loop to Pluto along Brushy Peaks, Grey Pine, and back through Meadow. Cost is $10, free <18; parking fees apply. Please bring a lunch and water.
