For anyone interested in art, peace and enlightened living: Kazuaki Tanahashi, is a reknowned calligrapher, author, translator, Zen teacher, and peace activist. Born and trained in Japan, he is known for creating a genre of one-stroke paintings and multi-colored Zen circles. A fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, Kazuaki teaches and performs worldwide. He also recently authored the book "The Heart Sutra: Exploring Wisdom Beyond Wisdom," soon to be released by Shambhala Publications. Net proceeds go to A World Without Armies (AWWA), a peace organization founded by Tanahashi Sensei to work on global demilitarization.
